My Favorite Pizza

Guys, I totally see the irony of talking about this right after this morning’s post but THIS is my favorite pizza in the world and I’m about to tell you where to get it.
Yes, it’s literally a salade niçoise on top of a pizza bread, but the combination of the two is so glorious that everybody I take there is converted. I mean, look at that, isn’t it beautiful ?!!
You can find it at Pulino’s, on Houston and Bowery. Their other pizzas are wonderful too. Please do try it when in the neighborhood and tell me what you thought !!!

ah ouais, ça a l’air très bon, mais sinon, LA meilleure pizza DU MONDE elle est à NAPLES, chez Michele (DA MICHELE). C’est la seule, l’unique, et la meilleure (au monde, et je pèse mes mots! les meilleures pizzas du monde étant à Naples, et comme c’est la meilleure de Naples, c’est donc la meilleure au monde!!:

Je serais à New York au début octobre j’essaierai d’y aller.
D’ailleurs, je suis en train de tout relire ton blog pour débusquer d’autres adresses géniales dans cette ville. Je me suis préparé un super méga fichier et possiblement avec carte et trajet. Mais l’ultime visite serais bien entendu de te rencontrer mais c’est trop demander.

I went to Pulino’s the first time I visited New York (Thanks to an earlier recommendation on your blog) and now that I live here I’ve been eating it ever sense. Different than your typical slice, it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Belle adresse clairement! J’y étais en juin dernier et je n’ai pas résisté à la “salame piccante con arugula”, mmmmm un délice… bon ici il n’est que 10h du matin mais zut! j’ai faim!!! :))
I’m quite traditional when it comes to pizza… this one doesn’t look like a pizza, I mean… eggs, meat, salad and other type of food. I would say no to it, but I would definitely go to Pulino’s when I’ll go to NY.

Habituellement, je trouve tt ce que tu écris (et dessine et photographie) et conseille génial (Amen;-)) mais pas cette fois ci Garance: la meilleure pizza se trouve sur les bords du lac de Côme ou dans n’importe quel coin d’Italie :-))
Pour un puriste ce que tu nous fais découvrir sur ce post ne s’appelle pas une pizza… Mais mon dieu ça fait super envie!

What you talking about girl?!! This is a salad!! A salad with bread underneath it. Yummy for sure but a pizza in my book (and in most people’s I think) is a delicious cheesy indulgence with just the right amount of crisp crust, homemade sauce and quality cheese. Toss some rocket on there and some fresh basil and now you’re talking pizza! Niçoise salad pizza?!…… Come on now. Keep it real. Keep it real. xo
