I spent a good chunk of my weekend cleaning out my closet and organizing some outfits…okay, and maybe did some shopping…
But I didn’t let the fashion week monster get me !!

I am also looking forward to more episodes of PMF, not to mention Fashion Week (must be capitalized I know).
Every 6 months I have the little self-chat: it doesn’t matter so much to me, I’m not in the life, I can’t afford most of the clothes unless they hit the Outnet or Last Call, I don’t live in a fashion capital, I don’t need to pay attention the the shows, I can wait……and then….like a grandfather clock, (or that crazy one in Munich) the morning of the first day dawns and HYSTERIA! I am glued to any and all outlets that will allow me to stream, I say nothing intelligible to my husband besides mutterings about hemlines, patterns, no patterns, Dries this or Raf that. It’s quick meals, coffee and my laptop. That’s it, don’t talk to me, and god forbid you call during Donna Karan or Burberry, or well, you get the picture.
Knowing what it takes out of me virtually Garance I cannot imagine!! what it must be for you and yours.

I hope we will see more pardon my french because they are so fun and well done and the music is usually terrific. Plus I personally am waiting to see what you decided about your hair. ITs a little odd, but its true. Every day I check in on Garance to see if there is news about her hair. Did she cut it or not? Im not sure what that says about me and my life right now but it sure speaks well for yours.
With school starting, I am just chaffing at the bit to go through my closet, my husband’s, and our boys! I just want to dive right in, but then I will continue to ignore my woefully neglected workout goals! I just can’t seem to do things halfway…but I am inspired! You are finding time to workout and do yoga and get your work done:)) I can do that, too, and organize! Merci and enjoy Fashion Week! Excited for the updates!

Souvent, on ne voit pas assez ce que tu portes alors que c’est pretty cool.

Y’a pas à dire j’aime vraiment ton recul vis a vis de cette hystérie pour la fashion week.
Voilà pourquoi je ne la suis qu’à travers tes posts.
Même si je suis une férue de mode, je n’aime vraiment pas cette ambiance malsaine autour des défilés ( oui, j’ai travaillé dedans). Même si cette industrie est très très importante ( elle engendre de nombreux de facteurs essentiels à l’économie et au delà même si on ne l’imagine pas un instant).
Je n’arrive même plus à lire le site Style.com pour te dire.
Donc vivement tes posts avec TON regard si posé et si fun.

Garance, I agree with the others, your Pardon My French videos, especially the Trending series, are my favorite posts. I would love to see a PMF video of you creating your outfits for fashion week. Let us in on what you are thinking as you mastermind your look. Tell us why a flat vs. pump works or why you push up your sleeves on shirts and coats. What other factors affect your decisions (i e., trends, comfort, favorite color, etc.). How do you know when an outfit is wrong for you? Is it a gut feeling or do you ask your buddies for their opinion? I could go on and on with my questions because I am so curious about your amazing ability to appear approachable, casual and yet brillantly chic at the same time.
Love it. As other people have asked already. Could you share where is the Leopard coat from?
