A little styling trick from the Marc by Marc Jacobs runway: it’s totally okay to grab your scarf on your way out the door, wrap it around your neck, and leave your hair still tucked underneath.
It’s the ultimate nonchalant look and I am totally copying it.

I loved this scarf-idea. The problem is I only have big wooly scarf, now I have to find a nice silk scarf… Well, I’m not complaining, this great look is totally worth it!

Manon, and everyone, you can do it with the big wooly scarf! I love putting my scarf on as I rush out the door without pulling my hair out of it – a fun way to pretend, for a few blocks at least, that I have a new hairdo. =)
That’s true! I tried it last winter (Burberry did it on the runway and it looked gorgeous) but somehow my hair flies out and I end up looking like a crazy weirdo… Maybe the silk will work miracles? And anyway, in the winter my wooly scarves never -ever- leave me, so I will try again soon enough :)
But you’ll have short hair soon garance!!! remember! ;) no need to tuck away fly aways x

My friend would always walk out the door with her hair still tucked in her necklace. My guy friend would make fun of her, and tease her that one day this will become a trend. I can’t believe he was right!!!!
Niceee. When it’s cold I usually leave my hair tucked underneath the scarf because I really don’t like how it looks above the scarf, but I have never ever thought of it as a trend.
Ha! You can’t do that anymore!!! Love the new hair and am so inspired to do “le chop” to mine.
