Arrrgh, it’s me!
This morning, I want to show you a couple things I love, and one thing I hate.
Okay, should we start with the things I love?
#1 – These MiH jeans that I love so much, I bought two of them.
What’s so special about them? It’s that I love their trumpet shape, short and flared at the bottom.
This is a cut that’s coming straight from the 90’s (Caroline Bessette, style queen used to wear that all the time!) and that my slim-saturated conscience had been looking for them for a while.
Okay, I still wear skinnies tighter that a Monday morning on the subway. But still.
#2 – These shoes. I’ll come back to them.
#3 – This perfect Phillip Lim bag (Remember? I had fallen in love with it here). Not too big, not too small, it can fit my Ipad and even my camera if I push a little, big ups for that.
#4 – This leopard print coat from Topshop. I looooved the print so much that I decided to do with a cut that is not quite perfect for me (it’s like a 60’s type of shape, with short and wide sleeves, not exactly my thing).
I’ve been looking for years for a nice leopard coat that’s not tacky, not made of fur, with a nice print and let’s say that with this one, I’m getting very close, what do you think ?

Okay. We’ve talked about the things I love, now, as promise, let’s talk about the thing I hate… Or if I may say, the thing I used to hate…
I had come to hate it so much, I was so over it, I had told you so much about it, that on Friday… I cut it all.
Short. No but short short, Michelle Williams short.
Hiiiiiiii!!!
I’ve been learning to live with it for three days, and now I think I can tell you that I love it.
Showing it to you (and telling you the story) as soon as possible.

Haha, la quête du parfait manteau léopard m’anime aussi depuis plusieurs années après un raté avec un manteau assos à la coupe parfaite mais à la fourrure trop synthétique, j’ai jeté mon dévolu cette année sur ce manteau Zara!

D’habitude, je ne suis pas friande de l’imprimé léopard. Mais là, je suis conquise ! Ca me donne carrément envie d’en avoir dans mon dressing. Celui que tu portes n’est pas too much (comme l’idée que je m’étais faite du léopard) il est juste… parfait.
C’est marrant, mais je me suis moi-même coupé les cheveux très courts vendredi dernier : les grands esprits se rencontrent. Hâte de voir le résultat !
J’aime beaucoup ton sac et tes chaussures, trop mignonnes, plus de caractère qu’une paire de ballerines mais plus fines qu’une paire de derbies. Et la première chose qui m’est venue à l’idée quand j’ai vu cette photo c’est “non mais c’est pas vrai, elle porte encore un chignon, elle n’a pas coupé ses cheveux!!!” Et en fait si… Allez hop, mets un joli rouge à lèvres, demande à Scott de te prendre en photo et BALANCE la photo ASAP!! Le suspense a trop duré maintenant Garance.

Congrats!! I actually love getting my hair chopped off every now and then. The first couple of shampoos after its been cut – the ones where your hands are still shocked to find so little hair – I love that feeling.

1. That coat is amazing. I love leopard-printed anything! I’ve been looking for the perfect leo jacket/ blazer to mix with my light blue shirts (I love light blue shirts even more!) but that coat is perfect! And it’s from Topshop??? Leo can be tacky, yes, but if it’s done right, it can be marvellous!
2. Short hair????? Can’t wait to see it!! I’m trying to convice my wife to get a Michelle Williams hair cut but she resists. Maybe if she sees you… Pictures soon please!!!

I’m so very curious about the new do, looking forward to the post!
And yes, it takes a bit getting comfortable when you chop it all off (especially when you roll out of bed without make-up on a bad day, makes me always go “ack, I look like a boy!”). But short hair is a great thing when you’re comfortable with it and it also makes you look totally different at your wardrobe and make-up, usually for me it’s then time to change thing up and I love it!
I think the coat looks really cute and playful on you, with the rolled up sleeves. The popped collar gives it a bit more class. You rock it!

Je suis étonnée que vous n’aimiez pas les manches trois-quart. Vous roulez ou pliez toujours les manches longues de vos vestons, manteaux , chemisiers, etc. C’est une drôle de manie sur laquelle vous devriez réfléchir .

Just saw your new haircut at dailyelle: you look a-ma-zing!!! Your bum looked good too but the new cut swooshed you right into the middle of now, but gives you a classic-in-a great-way/timeless look at the same time. It’s perfect!
This coat looked so wonderful I ordered it online immediately. I never do that– I never “copy” the ensembles of the bloggers I read! But I just HAD to this time!
