Balmain Hair

I remember when I bought my first designer beauty product and how totally chic I felt. Sure, it wasn’t a handbag or a jacket, but I was wearing Chanel.
Today, I’m wearing Balmain.
Your bathroom counter (and your hair) is about to get a whole lot chicer with this line of products from Balmain (they have been available to all of you in Europe for a while and are launching in the US next week– the wait is over!).
In the photo is the Silk Perfume and come on, you can’t say that you don’t want that sitting out in your bathroom…and that you don’t want a hair perfume.
I tried the sea salt spray this morning (by the way, I did find one that worked for me, but it’s hard for me to use it in the fall and winter because I smell like a Hawaiian Tropics model and there is just something a little bit off about coconuts when it’s freezing cold…) and this one smells great, a hint of vanillla & amber, while still giving me the effortless, cool Blue Crush Balmain hair that I crave.
On top of all that, you know us: we can’t resist beautiful packaging.

Cette bouteille me fait penser aux parfums d’antan, elle est magnifique. J’ai très envie de sentir ce parfum. Et j’achète très régulièrement le No 5 de Chanel, c’est un intemporel qui me fait sentir très femme.

Pour le coup je trouve ce billet un peu hors de propos chez Garance… Adopter un produit pour le nom sur la bouteille et le design seulement est un peu léger.
Utiliser un produit de soin pour son packaging et pour la marque, sans nous en dire plus sur l’expertise de Balmain sur le cheveux me laissent un peu dubitatif.
Ok la marque est présente chez Colette, mais ça ne nous avance pas plus sur la légitimité de la maison Balmain dans l’univers du cheveux… S’agit il d’une licence ? Est-ce un parti pris ??
Il faudrait être un peu plus clair sur le concept, car à côté de marques pro comme par exemple John Masters Organics également présent chez Colette, le choix est vite fait…
Le packaging est très irrésistible, je ne connais pas l’odeur du produit, mais j’ai quand même envie de l’essayer!

Je n’en avais pas encore entendu parler et je suis française ahah (mais j’ai une excuse je suis à Londres pour quelques mois là) , c’est vrai que de l’idée de mettre du parfum Balmain sur ses cheveux à incontestablement un côté chic! à essayer..
