Yes you have your weather app on your phone, but what if your only interest, and nothing else, is whether you need an umbrella or not?
Some pieces of design blend into their surroundings so seamlessly that they elicit little reaction. Others, just the opposite. Guess which these would fall into.
Every so often somebody writes something that perfectly skewers a moment. Well if you read beauty/health Q&As (which, if you visit GD, you surely do) featuring attractive women (primarily, for let’s admit they are the ones most outlets want answers from), then we think you’ll agree this essentially sums up many of them.
You’re getting older and time is getting shorter. Always good to be aware of how to save more of it for yourself.
“Ugh, this lipstick really doesn’t work for me in natural light. Can I return it?”
During this decade here in the states, and likely for the foreseeable future, California, specifically Los Angeles, has exerted a huge influence on design and lifestyle (come on, you know the aesthetic: from all the pots of succulents you’re seeing to the bowls you’re eating out of to the airy stores you’re visiting with their natural materials to the activewear you’re wearing all the time to the juice you’re convincing yourself is making you cleaner to the resurgence of board culture, etc), and of course Instagram and Pinterest largely spread it. Well now Ikea is getting in on it for the masses.
We live in a fast pop culture world that loves a good throwback, so of course at some point you’re going to want this VHS-effect app for your videos you shoot, share, and quickly forget about.
Doesn’t this look like a lovely start to a weekend?

Attendue depuis le début de l’année, cette collaboration entre IKEA et Ilse Crawford a vraiment l’air très réussie. L’ambiance qui en résulte nous permet de reprendre doucement la route vers la rentrée… J’ai vraiment hâte de me rendre en magasin pour shopper les it pièces !
