So yesterday I took over my own Snapchat, in order to celebrate the day of my book launch, and IT WAS FUN.
It’s also a lot of work (but I reserve that thought for yet another post about how social media is eating our brain slowly), which is why I don’t think I could do it every day, but I really, really do love creating little stories on Snapchat.
Yes, of course it absolutely hurts my taste for perfectly lit pictures and well edited content, but that’s also (I guess) what’s fun. Like, usually I refrain from drunk posting, but, yesterday on Snapchat, I was like hey, after 3 margaritas, why not? This looks absolutely terrible anyway! Let’s doooo ittttt!!! Oh, and let’s put a trumpet on Chris’ lips too, how hilarious!!! (He also found that absolutely hilarious, which is why I think we’re probably soulmates)(our first serious talk was about my use of the fist emoji).
It took me a day to figure out which way to shoot, so sorry for the headache, and why people where sending me pictures of them without a message, but I guess it’s a new way of communicating (on a scale of one to ten how old does that last sentence make me look?), so I responded by sending pictures of myself too.
So, for those of you who really don’t want to have anything to do with that app, I thought I’d share my yesterday with you here.
Sorry about the mess, let me do a few more takeovers of my own Snapchats and I promise I’ll know how to hold a phone straight.

Je n’utilisais pas Snapchat, et je l’ai téléchargé exprès pour suivre ta journée!
J’ai mis du temps à comprendre comment ça fonctionnait, et encore! Je n’ai pas commenté, ni envoyé de photo!
Je ne pense pas devenir une grande snapchatteuse mais j’ai rigolé, c’était très chouette de suivre cette journée si spéciale pour toi et de partager à des milliers de km ton euphorie!
J’ai hâte d’avoir ton livre en main, et je tiens à te dire Bravo et merci!
Bravo pour cette belle réussite, pour ton travail depuis 10 ans, et enfin pour ce livre qui je suis sûre va devenir un best seller!

Ca ne fait pas longtemps que je suis sur snapchat et je t’ai suivi hier, j’aime bien ce format imparfait mais chouette quand même : )

Aahahhah! Excellent! Ce que j’aime le plus dans ces petites vidéos c’est qu’on suit l’évolution de ta capillarité tout au long de la journée: plaqués au début (car fraichement lavés j’imagine), du volume au fur et à mesure que la journée avance et puis le soir bon, les cheveux en bataille, normal après une telle journée! J’adore.
