3 Looks / The Long Coat

If there’s one piece I look forward to cold weather for it’s the long coat. A design with a long hem that falls below the knee has never failed me, both on style and warmth.
I think what makes it so ideal is the ease of movement and the ability to wear it open at any moment whilst not immediately freezing. Yes there’s always the puffer coat or the cashmere blends, but the long coat’s ability to both not look like you’re wearing a sleeping bag and also somehow, almost magically, make you look taller is unequivocally appreciated.
There’s something all these women have in common, besides their coat lengths – a real cool nonchalance that comes with braving the outdoors without sacrificing style. And I think that is something we can all rejoice over!

i’ve always been a fan of jackets of a shorter length. almost bomber jacket short, but i’ve never liked the longer coats. probably cause i would go for a trench and that’s just not my style.

I love my long coat. Gray, black fur trim, tall collar, princess cut. With a pair of tall black boots, it looks so dressy.
if you live in a colder climate, i don’t know how you would get away with not having a long winter coat…? i like to be warm and i have to say during the winter my long coats become my favorite wardrobe pieces!
I am OBSESSED with long coats. Wearing one right now actually and I even invested in a long trench this year (even though living in Los Angeles I totally don’t need one).
