Caroline’s L.A. Home
5 years ago by
When our team arrived at the home of Caroline Belhumeur to record this episode of Pardon My French, everyone was in awe with the space. I mean, how could we not be? It is truly a California dream. Since we already had a photographer on site, we couldn’t waste the opportunity to shoot a full feature on it! Take a peek inside…we dare you not to want to jump into that pool!
Perhaps our favorite thing about Caroline’s home is the ease with which it straddles the line between clean lines/ minimalism and a certain feeling of coziness/ comfort. When you think about it, it makes too much sense given her title as Creative Director of Vince, a brand we’re obsessed with for that exact reason.
In Caroline’s home, we see a reflection of Vince’s aesthetic. As she said on the podcast earlier this week, “When we’re designing, we’re thinking about the little details that make it feel special…we spend a lot of time creating it, but you’d hardly notice.” And the sentiment clearly could not be more true of her approach to designing her home too. The space is filled with personal details (the art!!) that ooze a sense of artful and accessible luxury.
The rich mix of different woods, the insistence on a plethora of green plants, and the abundance of natural light streaming through the huge windows make the barrier between indoor and outdoor space feel nonexistent. Barefoot, with the cutest pup running around, and swaddled in Vince cashmere, it’s impossible not to feel relaxed in Caroline’s home.
I really like the decorative elements.
Makes my lungs clear and expand, just by looking at those healthy, lush, plants. Divine space! Thank you for this sweet little Sunday piece.

this is a truly stunning home. but really, the space oozes a sense of “accessible luxury”?! as in, the de sede “snake” sectional? the flos arco lamp? the huge panton chandelier?
Anyone know where those white seat/sofa pieces are from?
