More Mina…

Ok, so this one is mostly for the ones who know the song “Parole Parole” (if you don’t, you should!!! The one with Dalida and Alain Delon is a must)…
but how funny is that video ??? Aaaaah, I ALSO love Mina’s sense of humor…. #fandemina
I am Italian and this video made my Friday. I love Mina, I grew up listening to her songs…
a classic :)

J AdOOOOrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where’s Alain Delon?! This guy isn’t Alain!
There are no words to express how much I love the Dalida/Delon version! My mom would play it for me over and over again when I was a little girl and I always demanded she translated the lyrics for me, precisely, word by word, from French into Polish. It’s still my go-to song every time I feel nostalgic for childhood or miss my mother. Thanks for this lovely post, Garance! It made my evening.
She is the best!!!!

UNICA e INIMITABILE MINA.
OMG! Garance do you know this is not the original version but just a parody? anyway I love Mina and Celentano too! Happy you had found one of our muses!
I think you haven’t read the post…Garance mentions the original version!
According to Wikipedia the original song is from/by Mina. But Dalida and Alain Delon had a big hit with it.
Aaahhh Adriano Celentano, aaaahhhh! Trop trop bon!
I’m Italian and it’s so strange to open your blog and find a Mina video….so so funny :)!
I grow up with her songs since my dad is a big fan of her and I just love this video…thank you for sharing…italian humor!!

grazie,
Vittoria
oh….Celentano! Great!
Grande Mina! Thank you so much, Garance!
This is my first com!

Mina looks a little bit like the type of women you like to draw…the eyes, her mouth, the hair….the fun, the coolness……
Just perfect!!!
I grew up in the Soviet Union listening to Adriano Chelentano’s songs and watching Le Gendarme movies! Thank you for bringing me back to that beautiful time, Garance.
oh how much I adore her! What a voice! And what a style – all of them!
and this reminded me also of one of my earliest crushes! Adriano Celentano! I loved him so much during my early high school years
Thank you for bringing back those memories ~
J’adore!! By the way, do you happen to know the great song: Sono Triste by the italian singer Ornella Vanoni. It was used by Fendi for the spring summer 2012 catwalk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-laRCzCUiQ0
You have to listen this with Scott ;-)

Oh Garance!!! thank you for sharing this….. I love Adriano e Mina!!!! I had tears in my eyes because it reminds me always how much my dad also loved them. Grazie Garance
This is an italian song written in 1972 by Gianni Ferrio for Mina, who made it a hit single worldwide… This is why there a french version of it.
très très drôle!!! j’ai aimè
My favorite Mina song is “Taratatà”. Here is a video of it with her looking fabulous again and dancing:

Dear Garance, so happy you have mentioned Alain Delon. Alain Delon is the most beautiful man on this earth. There has been not and there will be not anyone more handsome than he is to declasify his position. I wish him all the best: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6198/6078760158_c9aaae7c39_o.jpg
Oh, you have just discovered Mina.
She’s a living legend, The Voice and Style Icon.
She choosed a Garbo style of privacy, no public appearance from 1978.
Minaaa!!!
