For years, one of my big questions has been how to present fashion on the blog. How to make the blog evolve, from my beginnings taking streetstyle photos to today. Not only has streetstyle become a formula that’s been done and redone, we also just wanted to do something new with the blog over the years. We expanded it with our Style Stories, and we also started creating our own editorials.
But we wanted to make them accessible and wearable, with a mix of different prices and brands — right at that magic place between dream and reality.
We work on them together as a team, deciding which trends inspire us and excite us, and which trends we want to cover. We choose girls we love, who inspire us, and who represent our reality, each in their own way. Then, we present them to you progressively over the season. When it’s all said and done, we end up with a real panorama of all our favorites, and it also turns into a great shopping guide (you don’t even know how many things I’ve purchased directly from the blog) when it all comes together. And that’s why today, we wanted to show you our favorite photos and finally combine them all together.
And personally, I’d like to say “bravo” to my team for transforming my dreams into reality.

Beautiful. The images of women on the street, dressed in a unique way but quite relateable, is certainly what has always drawn me to your blog. As far as actual items/ prices, it does not matter so much, because I have become skilled at re-creating a look with similar pieces. The best is when I already have an item, but never thought to wear or combine it in such a way. The style and attitude of people profiled and photographed by you is unparalleled!

I love the idea of photographing fashion on women that looks more real than the “classic models”…i like the idea of mixing high fashion and not expensive product..but i think we always need to stay in a dream fantasy mood…because this is what moves us and give us energy to move on in life…

I really love this post. Thank you for doing what you do.
Beautiful pictures with beautiful women <3
These women are all so beautiful!
Toute l’équipe fait un travail extraordinaire! Bravo!!!
Hi Garance!
I don’t think I have ever commented one of your posts before (though I’ve been reading your blog for more than 5 years), but I just wanted to thank you and your team for not using the blog to just sell clothes, but to share inspirational stories and ideas that any woman could relato to. As a medical student, I find myself less and less interested in blogs who just present products I could never afford or trends that do not fit (almost) any working woman daily life.
So once again thank you and keep up with the excelent job!
The pumps on the last picture are just awesome!
So inspiring pics, love your posts!

I really like this post! I think fashion is about telling a story and representing someone’s identity in the most physical and visual way. I love your blog and the stories you are telling through your photos!

Bises a toutes.
Am I the only person in the world that thinks that those Chanel flats that are uber-popular and grace countless blogs look like my great-aunt Emma’s shoes?! Not my fave!! I do, however, like the other looks.
Hi Anna! The girls we featured in the Edit series varied in size; from a size 2 to a size 12 and everything in between. Its important to us as well! Thank you for your feedback, and please know we strive to present diversity in all its forms. Brie x

I like how all your photographed girls look so casually elegant… like your illustrated girls.
Very minimalist. Very chic. Truly accessible. I love the looks!
Bravo xx
Wow, I follow this site now for 4-5 years. In between I was not interested, but now I think I will come more often… Nice clear pictures.

This has been a lovely series. Casually elegant, as another comment said, is a perfect descriptor. I look forward to the next season’s installment!
Your photos are lovely. I cannot remember if I already posted this or not. But my suggestion is to begin photographing older women and men.
so beautiful. ! love the different view points (only shoes, only face) and the different types of people (skin, hair, style). can’t wait to see more. xo
PS – you’re book is everything. thank you so much for writing it – so many wonderful takeaways. i enjoyed every page
Happy to see some of my favourite ladies in one post! Loving Giorgia’s edit.
