Summer nights are best-spent drinking rosé watching movies!!
Last weekend, I went to see the highly anticipated rom-com, Trainwreck starring Amy Schumer and Bill Hader, and produced by Judd Apatow.
And my overall thought? A must see! And for those of you that haven’t seen it, here is why.
First, the cast. You’ve got the brains of Amy Schumer who was just nominated for four Emmy’s one of which being, Best Actress in a Comedy Series category with her series, Inside Amy Schumer. Judd Apatow (need I say more) producer of everything hilarious ranging from movies such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin to the hit HBO show Girls. And then you’ve got the uber adorable, Bill Hader, who I know best from his character Stefon on SNL. They are a serious trifecta. Throw in a few appearances of LeBron James (so tall), John Cena (so muscular) and Ezra Miller (so dreamy) and the laughs just keep coming.
Amy Schumer plays a pretty typical (too much?) 20-something woman living in New York City dealing with the trials and tribulations of dating in a big city. Working as an editor at a super liberal Men’s magazine, she goes on a profile assignment and meets Bill Hader’s sports doctor character. Confronted with her daddy inner issues, Amy takes you on the rollercoaster ride of learning how to trust love again after being told as a child “monogamy isn’t realistic”.

After reading this article, I am totally convinced! I will see the movie this Friday. I am intrigued by Amy Schumer in this movie. I am not a big fan of her show but I admire what she is doing.

I watched it today! No idea why in Bulgaria we have it in theatres a week before western Europe, but not complaining. It was amazing!!! Touching, human, heartwarming, without being sterile, I was crying, laughing, also I was turned on by the love sceene!!! for real, which like never happens with other beloved romcoms. To sum up, I was feeling it the whole time. What a great piece of culture!
