There shall be no more hesitation in pronouncing a designer’s seemingly difficult name the next time he or she comes up in conversation.
John Waters, a man who knows exactly what “suits” him, and always pulls it off with panache.
Another cult film director: David Lynch. Twin Peaks without him is like, uh, a “The Del Val” post with no links.
It’s time (emphasis on time, as in give yourself an ample amount) to catch up with five excellent pieces written about style, that word which everyone defines in their own way.
Many people think squirrels are just rats with tails. Not this personable one!
Are these the best films since 2010?
Rather read than watch a movie? If so, are these the best books since 2010? Apologies for any excluded due to not being in English, you know how we Americans largely know only one language, and much prefer exporting our culture rather than importing it, and, well, let’s not get into all that here. Just read.

My favorite movie of the decade is missing in the list: it’s “Mommy”, from french Canadian Xavier Dolan. Almost selected for the Academy awards. Maybe it’s a good thing that it remained as a hidden jewel.
