As you know, I’m forever and ever inspired by the work of Suzanne Koller. She’s also one of my personal style heroes. I even interviewed her for Pardon My French and was completely star struck. So I’m very happy to share a few photos of her new book, Red Lips, Attitudes, and Other Obsessions because I’m sure you’re gonna love it too !

“This shoot was a 100-page story, so the longest fashion story Self Service has done. I shot it with Inez and Vinoodh and we shot for 5 days in New York City. Models Raquel Zimmermann and Shalom Harlow were stunning and super professional as there was a heatwave and it was approximately 90 degrees!”

“I’m an obsessive person and I love my obsessions, here shoes, just like many women. I loved to shoot my personal favorite obsessions every season with Ezra Petronio; you get the feeling like you own them when a beautiful picture is taken.”

“This is my first shoot with iconic photographer Paolo Roversi for French Vogue. I decided to shoot a group of eight new faces with him. It was one of Lineisy Montero’s first shoots for Vogue and she barely spoke English. I love her tomboy attitude in this picture.”

“When we got the opportunity to shoot Karlie Kloss for Self Service I really liked the challenge of creating a look for her that has a lot of attitude. At the end she looked like a modern version of Debbie Harry!”

“This is one of my favorite shootings with Alasdair McLellan that we did for Self Service. Everything was right: the models (Arizona Muse), the location, hair and makeup! The images say everything I like about a fashion shoot – the girls have great attitude and at the end these images are timeless.”
