One of my great pleasures in life is discovering cool places to stay while traveling (or at least dreaming about staying at them via pinterest). A few hotels have come up on my radar recently that all have this cozy, well designed vibe and really have a sense of history and place. With some googling, I discovered the design firm behind these unique spots – Studio Tack. They are a super talented group of architects who specialize in giving new life to forgotten spaces. Based in Brooklyn, but with an international roster of projects from Upstate New York to Wyoming to Barcelona, they are definitely making their mark in the hospitality world!
