I’m having some hair envy…
In the sea of bedhead, grunge and wet locks, the straight hair at the Proenza show was a breath of fresh hair. It was simple, clean and straight. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always love me some beach waves (even if I can’t perfect them), but I’m starting to crave clean and straight. In my past life, I wouldn’t walk out the door without running my flat iron over my locks.
Truthfully, my flat iron nostalgia started when this Zara fall campaign made its debut. I love the simple middle part and the easy, straight hair that still feels light. It’s not a severe straight, but easy, cool straight.
Am I right?

Moi aussi je kiffe les photos des filles au cheveux raides avec raie au milieu… Facile pour moi qui ai les cheveux raide…sauf que je ressemble à une nonne toute triste quand je fais cette coupe :s
I’m over straight envy, I’ve dealt with that, I’ve learnt to embrace wavy, it’s blonde I envy now. All those lovely shades of honey, beech wood and sand. Apart from a classic bob, I think every style looks better in blonde!

Totally agree! What works best for me is just a simple blow-dry with a drop (or two) of Maroccanoil in it. Keeps it straight-isch and fuzzy free without the straightner look. (God, how I love my straightner though…)
The problem with straight hair though, is the fine line between sleek and limp/flat
