Prada Candy

10 years ago by

Today, I shared with you our first collaboration on the blog.

It’s the post I did with Prada, and as I explained in my latest editor’s letter it is clearly identifiable and is not part of the river of the blog.
It’s a brand I chose (and I’m extremely honored that they chose me) because, as you know, I love it …
And I’m a big fan of the perfume (as well as Léa Seydoux!). Ok, enough talking! I hope that you’ll like the post!

Kisses :)

    Bises.

  • I love how honest you are about your collaborations . I haaaate when I feel they are trying to sell me something but post it as an recomendation , opinion , etc.

And this way I can look at your amazing work without that feeling :) :) Also love Prada perfums!

Congrats Garance for this new collaboration. Prada perfums, such a good choice. It is always a great pleasure to read you and watch your wonderful work. Thanks for sharing your experience.

  • Your honesty and sometimes bluntness (? is that a word?) is part of what keeps me coming back to your blog. I won’t doubt your motivation for any collaboration or so – I know you’re sincere.

  • I know this might be a strange place to ask, but as I’ve tried elsewhere to no avail, I thought I’d give it another go. Why, oh why, (despair) was the original Prada perfume (especially the decadently delicious body cream!) discontinued?! It was the very first “signature” scent I’ve ever found. My last bottle is snarly full. But the atomizer won’t work, which is heartbreaking. Truly – I thought it was the MOST delicious fragrance ever. Unique and atypical and never failed to garner remarks of, “Oh my god you smell soooooo gooooood, what are you wearing???” …sadly all the subsequent Prada releases I find depressingly mall-like and ubuitous. :-/

  • @Emily – I used to love it too, and my atomizer also broke coincidentally. I had quite a lot of juice left in the bottle but no one could help – I took it to the beauty counter and they couldn’t figure it out either. So sad!

  • Prada Candy is a lovely scent, so glad for your collaboration. PS. Who doesn’t like a bit of Prada in their lives?

  • Love the collaboration and the photo/picture journey! Those Prada flowers are exquisite…

  • Où peut-on voir cette collaboration ? Rien n’apparait sur la page…

  • Hi Elli!

The collaboration can been seen when you click on the Prada Candy Image with Lea Seydoux just below the main post! xEmily

I very much appreciate that you are open about these things and I do enjoy your blog. However I was mildly bothered that this advertisement constantly moved up the page all day yesterday, and seems to be doing so again this morning. To me, that feels like you’re pushing it. I’d prefer to see things like this on a sidebar with your other ads after you initially share them. It will still be very recognizable as your work and available to those who would like to seek it out. My two cents. Cheers and thanks for all the beautiful inspiration!

  • These type of posts always remind me my old days when i used to work day and night but in the end i get reward
