MY SUMMER MOOD

Often on weekends, I do a little bit of online shopping while eating my breakfast. On weekends, my breakfast can last for hours :)
Some stuff I only dream about, I put them in my shopping cart and never press the “check out” button (this Alaïa dress, for example, it’s not the type of purchase you do “while having your breakfast” if you see what I mean) other stuff I just love (the J.Crew surf top, so cute!) (oh, and the Mary Katranzou clutch, how cool!)
Some stuff I love but that would never work on me like that beautiful Asos dress that could work on… Dree Hemingway or Scarlett Johansson for example.
And some stuff I really bought, like this beautiful swimsuit and those Gianvito Rossi shoes, that are way too expensive but I love them and you’ll see me wear them a lot this summer.

I love weekends’ breakfast! Oh well, I love breakfasts in general… I do my online shopping while having breakfast too!!! Meaning: I don’t shop, just look, and I eat way too much… I should be shopping more and eating less, I guess. :/

Oh, la, la, la, I too am in my bed with my laptops and iPads, drinking my coffee, shopping . . . This morning I bought a $12,000 flamenco guitar. I don’t play, but I intend to learn. A good guitar will make it easier. I also pulled the trigger on a pair of river kayaks. Granted, there’s not a river within 300 miles of where I live, but they look great on the roof racks! Lastly, I bought an exotic animal (can’t tell you which, not sure about the legal status, etc.).
And I’m still on my first cup of joe!
I like to do window shopping on the internet too, pinning stuff on to my Pinterest boards. However, I don’t like to actually buy online, although I see amazing things there to buy. I like to try it on me first, to feel the tissue, to see the colour, to choose correctly the size. Many things I see online, that I wish and need, are not available in my city to buy. However, I never risk to buy it online, because I’ve had a few disappointments and it’s too painful to return it back.
J’avais vu cette robe ASOS, mais je ne l’imagine pas du tout sur moi non plus. Mais je suis sure que TOI tu es sublime dans tout ce que tu as décris dans ce post

Rhooo la la… J’ai quasi les mêmes sandales de Gianvito Rossi, d’il y a 2 ans… Je les porte tout le temps en été (enfin…. quand il fait vraiment beau, hein, c’est-à-dire pas encore à Paris). J’en reviens pas qu’on puisse acheter des chaussures sur internet… j’ai vraiment besoin d’essayer, de toucher le cuir, sa souplesse, et tout… La vieille école, faut croire ;-)

Garance! Since you have such a great and cool style, I’m hoping you could help me!? I don’t know what to wear for summer! I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and since most of the year consists of cold or colder weather here, I have a lot of practice putting together my fall/winter wardrobe (and I think I pretty much have it down). My summer wardrobe however consists of my tomboy items (nothing wrong with that) that are from my late teen era (I’m turning 27 this summer, so maybe not so great with the teen tomboy look anymore?!). The thing is, since I live in the city (and not at the beach) I find it hard to find good inspiration for being chic yet not too hot/warm (cuz believe it or not, we do have warm summers here) and floral girly dresses just aren’t for me, tomboy remember! So what do you say?! Can you and your team help me (and all your other readers, I’m thinking a great-styles-for-summer-in-the-city-post)? (YES I’m desperate!)

I like the dresses and the bag is very cute for summer. Started to follow your pinterest boards, oh that will be long hours that I will spend pining and will be then wondering how come I did not manage all the work I have planned for the day :) I am not really the type of online shopper but I think I am starting to be pinterest addicted :)
Ah, I call this ‘window shopping’, and do it daily…Sometimes the danger is accidentally hitting ‘buy’, which I did with a pair of Chloe Susanna’s, just a subconscious slip of the finger perhaps?
