Lebon Toothpaste

There’s no denying going organic has quickly become ubiquitous in more and more daily routines. From our produce to our skincare products, there are more options and higher accessibility than ever. Yet there’s one item in nearly every household that seems to be repeatedly overlooked—toothpaste. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve been rebuying the same stuff your parents gave you decades ago when were a kid.

Enter: Lebon, a toothpaste that’s not only healthy but also delivers quality taste—all housed within the chicest of tubes.

The founders, husband-and-wife couple Stephanie and Richard, realized a gap in the industry for an ethical and natural toothpaste made specifically for those who prioritize health but also appreciate luxury design. Aptly, the brand’s name in French translates to “the good one” or “uncompromising one.” The idea came to them during a stay in Costa Rica, surrounded by tropical vegetation and the ocean. Thus, the brand was inspired by nature, the elements, and the surf lifestyle—all with a touch of glamour.

A commitment to healthy ingredients is at the core of Lebon’s brand values. “We select our ingredients one by one, focusing on those that are proven to be safe and effective, while steering clear of any cheap, harmful ingredients. We make tough decisions and continue to test our products until they match our high standards,” explains Richard. All of the ingredients are 100% organic, cruelty-free, and vegan. They use organic Aloe Vera and Green Tea to protect your gums and teeth enamel, and Papaya Extract for all-natural whitening. Not included on their label? Titanium dioxide, fluoride, sulfates, parabens, and colorings (to name a few) which can be found in almost every other toothpaste formula. “Considering the average person cleans their teeth roughly 70,000 times in their lifetime and ingests a small amount of toothpaste each time, it’s of the utmost importance to us that our customers are not exposed to harmful, toxic ingredients,” says the founders.

And lucky for us, Lebon tastes just as good as it looks. “It was very important to us that our products made for an enjoyable sensory experience, during each cleaning as well as afterwards,” explains the founders. With six exclusive flavors (ranging from Sweet Moroccan Mint, to Pineapple, to Rose with a hint of Orange Blossom,) every tube is natural and delicately unique, making for a different experience from one flavor to the next. Plus, each flavor profile was custom-made for the brand by an 18th century supplier from Grasse, France—the fragrance capital of the world.

Considering brushing your teeth is the first and last thing you do each day, it’s time for an upgrade.
