A cozy sweater for winter.
Its all about touch and the way it feels when you go to buy a new sweater. Grazing your hand over the sweaters in a store and only stopping when it feels right. The “duck duck goose” of sweater buying. But what to do when you think you found the perfect sweater online? It looks cozy, it says its extra-fine merino wool. Even the girl wearing it looks happy its on her. I can’t help you with every sweater out there, but I can tell you the Everlane knits are every bit the soft, hold my tea in bed, Pinterest-worthy sweater you might be looking for.
And like all their goods, a budget friendly price! Now to decide if you should go for the sleeveless turtleneck (that’s me!) or maybe the cardigan?

In a way I’m glad that the weather finally got gloomier in London- time to swaddle myself in all those cosy knits! I haven’t tried Everlane jumpers yet but I love their t-shirts.

Everlane is outstanding! There is not a single thing I have purchased that has not been brilliant…from tees to blouses to bags. I have my eye on the cashmere tunic and the loafers now. I recommend Everlane to Everyone!

Shockingly, I DID find the most amazing sweater on line, and they are mostly gone now. It was the extra fine merino ribbed crew neck on J Crew. It’s a fantastic canvas for all of my bijoux. I am SO UPSET this sweater did not come in black but I bought it in navy, grey and olive green. There are a few left on sale but the navy went very quickly.
Parfait pour la saison, j’aurais opté pour la même pièce: elle se prête en effet à beaucoup de superpositions!

A perfect piece when you want your “grey to matter” and when you need to be soft and not abrasive! I also like the sleeveless aspect for under a blazer. Grey matters.

ironically just broke down and ordered the cardigan along with a shirt from Everlane earlier today and then just saw this post. Really excited to try their pieces.
