Haim x Paul Thomas Anderson

I’m late to the game on a lot of things. One of them is Haim. One of them is not Paul Thomas Anderson. He’s directed some of the best movies out there –There Will Be Blood, Boogie Nights and Punch Drunk Love, just to name a few. Definitely one of my favorite directors.
So imagine my surprise and surprise pleasure (!) upon discovering the short film, Valentine, he did for Haim, which came out last week. I honestly had never listened to their music before and I now may or may not have them on repeat while typing this mini. Or all of my emails. All day.
The film is really captivating as Anderson gets up close and personal with the sisters, allowing the viewer a glimpse into the intimate moments that happen as an album comes together. Very cinematic.
