New York is a unique place to live. You constantly experience your highest highs and biggest struggles in the same city. After living here for almost 6 years, I think one of my biggest struggles is the overwhelming feeling of guilt that happens every winter as I pass countless homeless men and women in the brutal cold. New York constantly forces you to face the truth that homelessness is an issue that effects too many. I am always looking for ways to do small things for the homeless. Whether it’s giving them that $50 Starbucks card my Nana gifted me for the 5th year in a row or bringing them the nearest take-away for a substantial meal, I think it’s important to acknowledge that they are there and they deserve to be heard. So, with that said, I am so happy to learn that one of my favorite brands, Moncler, is teaming up with the UNICEF powerhouse to bring clothing and dedicated winter kits to people in need, especially children, in order to help them survive each day. It’s called Warmly Moncler for Unicef and I think it’s pretty incredible, don’t you?
