Drugstore Score!

My list of favorite drugstore beauty finds is about a mile long. The most recent addition: Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable balm stain.
I was on a late night nail polish remover run when it caught my eye on the shelf. Having just run out of my everyday lip staple (Clinique’s Chubby Stick in Chunky Cherry), I thought I would give it a go. It’s super moisturizing, the color is long lasting and it’s just a little bit minty. It’s found a permanent place in my heart (and handbag).

I used to use Clinique’s Chubby Stick as well, but now that I’ve tried the Revlon version, I don’t think I’ll go back. I find it’s more hydrating than the Clinique one, and I really like how once the gloss wears out, it turns into a lip stain! Have you also tried Revlon’s Just Bitten Lip Stain (the marker-like one)? I wear the crayon version in the winter when my lips are a little dry, and the marker version in the summer.

I discovered it about a year ago and still absolutely love it. The combination of moisture and stain is perfection.

Have this in the same color and it is my go to. I love putting on blistex and putting that on top. Then I can moisturize and add color at the same time. There are so many other pretty colors to choose from as well.

I have the Just Bitten “marker” version of this in a couple of colours, and they are really good! Might have to try this one too…

I got this in smitten and LOVE it! The colour is perfect and it’s so moisturising. I also got it in precious for something to wear daily.

Neutrogena makes good ones too. There’s a nice soft red that’s perfect for the faint of heart!
as a fellow chubby stick devotee, i was a little angry that they pretty much totally copied the packaging, product, etc. though i won’t lie, my wallet is urging me to make the switch.

I have bought it in two colours. It lasts a long time. The one I have looks different to the one in the photo. Mine is like a “texta” and you colour your lips in and then you apply the lip balm. You have to be quite accurate when you colour in.
Funny….I was just thinking of posting on my blog re the same thing. I tried the Clinique Chubby and yes it’s nice but for the price and consistency nothing is better than this Revlon and now Cover Girl has a great one too. Incredible. Did you also check out Revlon’s Color Stay Ultimate Suede Lipstick? I swear before discovering these drug store brands I was a lipstick snob wearing only Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana & Nars, etc. No longer.

i just picked this up after seeing it here, and although i like the product, i have to say i think calling it a “stain” is a bit overdoing it. the color didn’t quite stick with me ;)
