Yes, we agree — winter scarves need to be practical. But we love when they’re fun, too.
Every outfit needs a little humor and this scarf is an easy way to incorporate that kind of fun, especially with the holidays here. It also makes us even more excited about the different travel plans we have coming up…
And the best part? It’s still big and cozy.

C’est sympa! mais hors contexte c’est curieux, porter ça dans un amphi en plein cours de droit… en revanche dans le métro c’est fun!

Well there is a greater need for practicality on the East coast than in London…where it’s deliciously 10 degrees celsius plus/minus for most of the winter. ;-) Btw, I did an inventory of my wardrobe recently and realise that there are a growing number of items by Madewell… do you notice that too?

Comme je tricote, les écharpes, les bonnets et tout ça, c’est l’fun de trouver des motifs qui tuent, des matières à tomber… des couleurs fun. (Y a une super marque américaine de laine, Madelinetosh, qui fait des couleurs démentes aux noms trop chouettes, Edison Bulb, par exemple !)(J’ai dans mes projets un bonnet avec un motif de nain de jardin dessus, promis, ça fait plus art contempo que ridicule !)(Mais depuis que je tricote vraiment bien, je ne peux plus acheter une écharpe ou un bonnet ou même un pull : je sais que je peux faire mieux avec des matières folles, cachemire, mohair, sobre ou décalé… sous oublier la joie de faire.)
Your scarf is a super nice piece! I like also to add bright socks (unicolored or thoose with rhombs) to an all in grey or brown look . Learned this from English Gentlemen. Or I choose sometimes my radiant purple leather gloves.

Certes…. mais de loin ça ressemble quand même un peu (dangereusement) à une écharpe de supporter de l’OM non?!
