If you’ve ever watched the show Portlandia, you’ll know the saying “put a bird on it”.
Well, okay, it’s not really a saying but people said it for a while about everything. And I think the same goes for “put a tassel on it” … yeah, maybe it’s a stretch. But lately I’ve been seeing the scarf on a bag, the fur ball chain thing on a bag, and an assortment of other dangling attachments adorned to purses. It reminds me of my early college years and, from all of those, this version — lucite squares plus leather tassel — from Building Block are my absolute favorite. Modern, yet still retaining that extra something you might be looking to add to your vintage Speedy bag or perhaps a nice simple tote…
