Beauty Lessons from Pattie
10 years ago by
“Now let’s get back to the lips. After the eyes, it’s the first thing a boy notices about a girl.”
I stumbled across these beauty tutorials from Pattie Boyd on Pinterest the other day. Published in 16 Magazine in 1965, “Beauty Box” included Pattie’s tips on everything from the perfect cat eye (I mean, who else is more qualified to talk about this?) to maintaining your hair-do (those bangs!).
If you’re in the mood for some 1960s beauty nostalgia, check them out here!.
very interesting beauty reference! :)

I admit I don’t know who she is but I loved the retro feel of the article…She looks adorable… wonder what she could do as a beauty blogger today?!

I definitely know who she is. I wanted to be Pattie Boyd. I copied everything she did. And even now I see these pictures and still feel the same girl crush I had back in high school. I think I would faint if I met her, even today at my age.
can’t find her eye one :(
Very cool! 1960s makeup is my favorite, I especially love Twiggy and Jane Birkin’s strong lashes.

Seems like there is a big comeback of the 60s!

And her sister Jenny married (maybe) Mick Fleetwood, co founder of Fleetwood Mac! What a rock family!

1960s beauty is wonderful, the hair, eyes, neutral lips. Thanks for the link to the Belle! Pinterest page, it is wonderful for the natural beauty featured. Love.
I LOVE this! And now I want my bangs to look exactly like that. They’re perfect! Thanks for sharing. :)
Cette dame a tout de même inspiré les neuf ou dix chansons d amour majeures des années 70 !
Pour ne citer que Something de George Harrisson et Layla d Éric Clapton.
Fun!
