Ladies like Sezin make my job a walk in the park. She makes getting dressed look as easy as her style is elegant, and I just love a girl who loves white shirts as much as I do. In fact, she loves them so much that she has co-founded a brand entirely dedicated to them, Pause NY. What are your must have wardrobe items?
White shirts, basics, column dresses, metal jewelry, leather accessories and red lipstick.
What are the most important qualities of an outfit when you get dressed?
Comfort, style and intention – with a no fuss approach. I like to combine essentials with that special woven piece, great pair of shoes or statement accessories.
What are your favorite ways to wear a white shirt? Is there a specific style from your collection that you find yourself wearing the most?
It depends on the style. If a style has a unique quality to it, then I highlight it by pairing it with muted essentials and accessories. If it is a versatile piece, then there are all kinds of tricks I can do with it! The Lenox Boyfriend Shirt from our debut collection is definitely the style I find myself wearing the most! The ease of it with the exaggerated cuffs makes it the perfect button-down to wear all year round. I love wearing it with a turtleneck, layering it with metal accessories and styling the shirt for an effortless look – like wearing it half-tucked in, barely buttoned with one cuff undone.
