Memorial Day marks the official start of summer which also means, we’re about to sweat. And as much as I look forward to summer and don’t want to sound like the type of person who finds a way to complain about weather year-round, the heat in NYC can get…rough, and breathable outfits become a priority and a necessity.
Victoria hits the nail on the head – chic and light, in post-memorial day white. As a plus, minimal skirts that just graze the body create a bit of air flow, if you catch my drift…
She’s wearing exactly what we’re hoping to achieve on a daily basis this summer. Taking note for the heat waves to come.

I’m a photographer in the South of France and I am ALWAYS sweating during photo shoots! Ugh, when I photograph weddings it’s the worst because I have to dress formal yet light.
Linen is often the best option for the NYC summer. It’s going to be my fourth summer in the city and things get really, really tough. It seems to be impossible to stay comfortable throughout the day unless you’re blasting the AC! So the search for breathable options is a must. Taking notes as well :) xx

Hmm, but is the lovely skirt she is actually wearing? (it’s not in the “Shop the Story”)
Hi Inga!
Her skirt is Celine, we’ve just added the credits!

Très chic, j’aime les lunettes !
The asymmetry of the skirt really adds up to the look. So effortless!
