Effortless Eléonore

I am wearing a faux fur coat with Levi’s jeans, a vintage cardigan and a pair of black converse. I like to dress simple and comfortable and mix it with a strong piece like my fur coat – I think it makes the outfit less boring. I like vintage pieces because they are unique and I like the idea of giving a second life to cloth.
An outfit has to be pretty simple and classic (I don’t like to look overdressed) but also comfortable with a touch of elegance – like a skinny pair of vintage Levi’s with a white men’s shirt and a pair of ballerina flats. That would actually be my dream everyday outfit – I kind of like the idea of having a uniform. When I feel good in one strong outfit I like to stick to it.
My must have wardrobe item is a good pair of Levi’s jeans. I’m obsessed with jeans I think I have 50 pairs (not kidding) and a white t-shirt and a pair of Chanel ballerina flats.

I totally agree about the uniform thing – I love wearing one that’s so personal to me! Mine is made up of Veja sneakers, Hiut Denim or Kowtow trousers, base layers from The White T-Shirt Company and STUDY 34 knitwear on top. And second hand long navy wool coat in the winter or a lightweight Barbour jacket in the spring. I love supporting labels and brands who specialise in making one thing really well and if they’re local (ish) to me even better!
