There’s something about the winter that makes you want to forego any thoughts of staying chic in the storm. But Breanna’s neck scarf and lavalliere, worn with mens coats, might make the case to opt back in to making the effort towards a touch of femininity.
A simple knot at the neck may be just the styling trick you need to make it through a few more weeks of temperamental weather….
I live in turtlenecks, its a great way to ensure my vocal chords stay in tip top shape. When its especially cold out. I’ll tie a neckerchief around them for extra support and a little panache

Neck tie scarves can really spruce up a look. Especially tshirts.
I went to a fabric store and purchased a few patterns of cloth. And got my tailor to do the seams. Vintage silk hand kerchiefs also do the job.

Je n’aime pas les cols roulés mais alors la je dois dire que je suis sous le charme, le col roulé gris assorti au manteau avec ce foulard bleu à pois, j’adore. Surtout sur cette belle personne !
J’aime beaucoup l’idee du foulard sur le col roule. Il faut dire que Breanna a un charme fou avec ses beaux cheveux.
Seeing this elegant and effortless look inspires me to try it again. That, and lavalliere is such an infinitely more chic term than pussybow blouse, which sends shivers of ubiquitous retro-inspired doom scurrying up the back of my (wrapped up) neck!
