I thought it would be fun to show you a few of the things we are going to be wearing out and about to the shows these next few weeks!
I know I told you I was ditching heels for flats BUT these are a serious exception. They are by Alexandre Birman– and I can’t decide if I like the brown or white pair more! What do you think?

Seriously off-topic, but how do we feel about the zipper AND laces combo? I think it is the height of kitsch and can never bring myself to buying / wearing any garment, shoe or accessory that has both.

I think the boots are gorgeous! The white ones especially.
But I too don’t like to have both zippers and laces on my shoes. Makes me feel like the brand thinks I’m too stupid to tie my laces and need a zipper. Also, I think it’s unnecessary clutter. One or the other. Or neither: I just bought amazing Chelsea boots ;)

J’aime beaucoup les bottines marrons, elles sont bien proportionnées. Elles ne sont pas trop hautes sur la jambes. Les blanches à mon avis peuvent-être portées de manière décalée : le haut de la bottine replié vers le bas, lacets défaits jusque’à une certaine hauteur, pour une attitude plus cool.

YES Barbara! I too hate lace-up boots with zippers! It is getting harder and harder to find a pair of lace-up without.
As far as the color goes I prefer the brown.

Wouah, ces deux paires sont magnifiques ! Les deux sont parfaites pour cette occasion ! Bon courage pour les départager ! Les brunes sont plus classes, plus sexy, tandis que les blanches donnent un effet plus décalé et plus cool ! Et tous dépend avec quoi les porter, je pense que les blanches irait très bien avec un jean boyfriend, et les brunes avec une belles jupe crayon ! Alors bon courage pour les départager !

Les blanches!! Si t’arrives à les porter, je suis sûre qu’elles seront fantastiques. Les marrons sont trop convenues pour une fashion week… ou alors tu n’attends rien de tes chaussures ce jour là :-))

Han c’est une tuerie ! J’adore. Je dirais les marrons (les blanches peuvent vite faire majorette :-) mais sont aussi plus fortes et pendant la fashion week tout est permis, alors !). J’avais des Balmain noir comme ça mais je les ai revendues car vraiment impraticables au quotidien tant elles étaient hautes.

Dernièrement je n’ai pas pu choisir entre un chaton mâle ou femelle, alors j’ai pris les 2! Et je n’ai pas regretté!!!

I prefer the brown because of the length. It’s much more flattering on the leg if you want to wear them with skirts. The white are veering dangerously close to Victorian bridal territory.
Les blanches! Le marron, c’est commun, c’est lassant. Oui, l’été est fini mais doit-on pour autant se parer de couleurs sombres?
Et, à mon humble avis, on a toutes besoin d’une paire de talons “all white” :p

Love both… But I always think that a white shoe – specially of this kind – arrives (and stays) miles before the one who is using it. So…the brown ones…go get it girl!
OMG I have an old pair of military Balmain boots and I forgot all about them! they are hiding somewhere in my closet! they have kind of the same shape as your white boots. Hon, you have an amazing fashion style and it is your own, go with you gut feeling, how else would you make a choice.
I love both of them, but the white ones are even more special!

Like both. These are beautiful. Although I agree about the zipper and laces, not a combo I like. Love the brown. Just saw a light gray pair on the Saks website that would look Fantastic on Garance and maybe more wearable than the white. The only difference is the zipper is on the back versus the side.

Si je devais choisir, je prendrais les brunes. Mais honnêtement, rien qu’à les regarder, elles me font mal aux pieds, que ce soit les brunes ou les blanches.
Sans aucun doute les marron….après c’est une question de goût mais j’ai horreur des bottes/bottines blanches…l’impression d’être une majorette de sortie à chaque fois :-/
Aucune. Mais s’il faut vraiment choisir (et mourir des pieds au bout de 2h), les marrons.
Les marrons, sans aucun doute ! Mais les talons, ça ne peut jamais être fini ! On peut s’en lasser quelque temps, mais que c’est beau, et ça serait trop dommage de s’en passer :)
En tout cas ces chaussures sont sublimissimes, je suis totalement fan, hâte de voir la tenue !

Funny. I have no problem wearing fur, or wearing leather, but snake or alligator I just can’t wear. I know too much about how wrong that is.
