Finalement, ce sont des chaussures de tapis rouge ou des chaussures sculptures, un rêve de petite fille, devenue grande et toujours un peu nostalgique de sa période fées et princesses…
Coefficient d’utilité vraiment très bas, mais qu’il est bon de rêver un peu! Je vais les garder en photo sur mon mood board!

I love these. You should wear them. I like this look right now but I wonder how long you think they will be in style? I ask bc it seems like a lot of the kids are moving away from wearing bling, glitter, bows, chains, quilting, etc. and wearing more minimal, simple, earthy, tomboy looks. This is what happened in the late 80’s- it was like all the black and bling was very decadent all of a sudden and everyone wanted to simplify. But I also think that times have changed and we wear a broader spectrum of trends now than we used to.

Elles sont très belles, mais hautes 11cm….
De plus il faut un chauffeur avec ces chaussures car les pierres sur le talon ne résisteraient pas à la conduite d’un véhicule.

And I do that with shoes–display them. I once took a particular pair and set it on a mantle piece for many days because I never got sick of seeing it before I fell asleep at night….
I’m a magpie, always love a bit of sparkle. These shoes are fabulous and you’ll love them forever. Unlike a previous comment, they really won’t go out of style – the cut is classic and while you may wear them now with rolled up boyfriend jeans and an oversize white shirt, they’ll be just as awesome ten years from now with a LBD or a tuxedo suit. WELL DONE!
I love them. Even more than the rhinestones (which are awesome), I love the shape of them. They make this woman’s feet look gorgeous.

Est-ce que j’ai le droit de me moquer …? Non ! C’est le genre de chaussures limite “cagole”. Puis une image m’est venue … toi comme une tulipe noire et elles aux pieds et peut-être cela devient sublime ! Ou bien toi tout en blanc à Udaipur et te voilà pile dans le contexte !

actually this post reminds me of something that might be of interest for others too- everytime i see photos of people in high heels, i wonder if there’s some kind of trick for a nice ‘shoe-decollété’! when i wear heels for longer, the veins on the top of my feet usually show quite a bit and it just doesn’t look nice.. so how do these people who wear high heels all the time do it?

Those heels are beautiful and I could probably never wear anything so high for more than 5 minutes! But since I was always attracted to colorful stones and semi-gypsy sparkle, I have a belt from the late 80’s that would cinch in your white shirt or LBD perfectly! Enjoy these shoes and wear them in good health.

Justement une question me turlupine depuis un certain temps… j’imagine que toi seule sauras me donner une réponse réaliste. :-)
Voilà, quand on possède ce type de chaussures, des escarpins d’une grande valeur (à la fois émotionnelle et financière) comment faire pour les porter ? Toi même tu en parles, quand on les aime tant on n’ose pas les porter ! Mais le problème c’est que des chaussures sont tout de même faites pour être portée (hormis pour les collectionneurs ou les richissimes), non ? :-) Mais comment ne pas les abimer quand on vit dans le monde réel d’une jeune demoiselle qui ne circule pas qu’en chauffeur ou taxi ? qui prend le métro et qui aime ses sorties pédestres sur le macadam de la ville Paris (ou le gravier de la campagne) ? :-)

M daughter actually did the “shoes as sculpture” thing with a pair of too tiny Pradas that her boss had gifted her. I kind of like the idea. It kind of reminds me of those people that drive around in junky cars with a bumper sticker that says,”My other ride is a Porsche.”
