The Irene Neuwirth store in West Hollywood is exactly the type of space you might imagine your impossibly chic aunt who lives in Miami but has a house in Los Angeles and travels to Morocco might have. You know, the perfect mix of pink and gold accentuated by both real greenery and the type that comes in the form of a beautiful art piece or infamous wallpaper.
Like the one-of-a-kind hand crafted pieces Irene is known for, the shop, designed by Pam Shamshiri is just as unique, with unexpected touches on every table, shelf, and silver rhino. The large scale blue diorama is the epicenter – its handmade animals and foliage figurines are the backdrop for jewelry, and the delicately painted vintage hand mirrors for seeing how those turquoise pendant earrings look.
Its the type of shop you want to hang out in, enjoy the sun shining in from the skylight above while relaxing on the velvety pink couch….
