Like an impossibly chic great aunt with a naughty side, the Grand Amour is truly something special. If the “colorful” carpets on the five floors of hotel rooms were any indication as to the general direction André Saraiva had in mind, the multitude of photographs from Helmut Newton & Man Rey, and the Marcel Duchamp drawings might speak even louder. Every room is different, with something new to experience at each turn, decorated with antiques from around the world.
This is far from your cookie cutter hotel. With André as your guide, you step into an alternative universe where beauty, color, and a hint of humor is encouraged.

Je suis allee sur le site de l’hotel decrit comme “chic et mutin” a” l’atmosphere coquine-cool”. :-)))
Oh my! And, Brie, a perfectly on-point analogy to the “impossibly chic great aunt with a naughty side.” Wish I’d had one of those! But naughtiness and humor aside, those colors are seriously luscious. Both the words and photographs add up to a fabulous Friday inspiration…. and on several levels ;-)
