Last Tuesday, I had the chance to visit Isabel Marant during fittings – which is when the models come by the studio to get fitted in the clothes they’ll wear in the show…
I’d already seen a few photos of her studio (studio of my dreams!) but I’ve never seen it at work, functioning with the team and models. It’s interesting to see how it all comes together; the models trying everything on, the shoes which are still only prototypes, all the discussions about how to make sure the show is spot on, everything that gets decided, taken out, put back in, and adjusted.
I tried to be as discreet as possible, but the atmosphere was really easy – all the girls in the studio are cool and stylish. Even three days out from the show, it didn’t surprise me at all that Isabel Marant is the brand that makes little girls dream… and big girls go crazy :)

Fantastic post! I am a huge fan of Isabel Marant. The clothes and the woman. She seems totally effortless and yet classy and cool. The women working with her seem also as cool as she is!
Anyone knows who is the blonde girl? (the one who is styling with Geraldine) I´ve seen her in some street style pictures and she is amazing!!

Quel chance! J’ai beaucoup aimé cette collection, je la vois comme un retour au sources, je retrouve la Isabel d’avant, l’ultra féminité, légère, un brin bohème et délicate mais toujours avec ce côté garçon manqué parfois…bref J’adore, je me damnerais sûrement pour l’une de ces pièces…

J’avais vu la préparation de son défilé dans le Jour D’avant de Loic Prigent et sa décontraction, sa bonne humeur et son talent me l’avaient fait aimer encore plus.

vivement la collection H&M….j’espére juste qu’elle arrivera à Rome (où j’habite)….
J’aime beaucoup Isabel Marant et sa “décontraction raffinée”, sa façon de féminiser et d’urbaniser un esprit Farwest qui reste toujours présent chez elle (c’est la formule qui me vient à l’esprit)… En plus, elle donne l’impression d’être très, très calme et d’avoir une solide dose de recul. Deux qualités si rares!
