In Bloom

It was almost too good to be true when we heard Jenni Kayne would be hosting a flower arranging class at The Line! A beautiful apartment filled with gorgeous flowers created a pretty dreamy atmosphere. So we thought we would share the magical bouquets as well as a few tips from florist Ariella Chezar…
“Within moments of purchasing flowers, the are already dying, so you have to cut the stems off as soon as you buy for freshness!”
“Work in threes – placing them in three directions for a nice balance. If the flowers are flowing out, the stems are too long. Cut them shorter!”
“A dab of chlorine bleach added to the water just in the beginning is a little secret to keep flowers living longer”
Looks like fun. Good advice.
flowers are a miracle of design. well, nature in general… :)
