You might have heard — Garance is finally home! And it has been a journey! The very first time I met with Garance, a little over a year ago, it was in this exact home, but I would have definitely described it as just a house at that time, not a home. Bare walls, a couch and lots and lots of boxes.
Over the past year of working with Garance, I’ve learned so much by watching how her creative eye works. She’s able to combine big picture ideas with a serious attention to detail. You can see it everywhere–from her photography, her illustrations, and her personal style. The way she approached her home is no different.
We wanted to take a moment to focus on the details of her home, because without the details, you’re still stuck with a house, and wanting for a home.
Garance, mes félicitations avec ta maison à prendre la forme enfin! J’étais toujours curieuse de la découvrir ici. C’est naturellement beau sans trop d’efforts. ll a l’air d’être comme ta personalité – lumineuse, ouverte et accueillant, bref on ne se connait pas mais je lis ton blog depuis longtemps donc je me suis permise de faire mes propres conclusions subjectives. Ahhh what a feeling you must be having on a day to day; moment to moment. “i love my home”, is what you must be saying. “I am deeply grateful to have this place”. I am sure it has come alive in new ways and you will build an incredible relationship with place…
Though I have not seen photos, I am sure it is a dreamy place at dawn and dusk….

Outstanding interior design. I love all the wooden furniture and accessories; they harmoniously fit the interior. As well, I like the colour contrast between the living room and bedroom.
