Ok, once again here’s Veronika. Like I said before – such cool style. And somehow she makes dressing in the rain effortless.
I love how she keeps it simple with a classic black raincoat (I just got one I think is just as shiny, and probably equally as squeaky), a feminine white knit dress and then of course those awesome Calvin Klein boots.

“Style” dressing for the rain vs. “Real Life” dressing for the rain is hilarious. In an actual, wind-howling downpour, I have a hood pulled tight around my face, clutching my bag to protect it, and I certainly would not be wearing white in the city!!

That is a cool rainy day look. And I can’t help but envy people whose hair manages to look so shiny and not frizzy in the rain!
So nice to see someone who can dress both beautifully and practically. In my town USA this is all too rare…the women dress gender-neutral, as though they are about to go on a hike! Once beauty and femininity go out the door, good manners are sure to disappear also, as I am seeing more and more of each and every day, .

In a heavy rain, I am usually wearing a red old London Fog slicker or men’s Timberland windbreaker layered with a fleece vest, and a Harley Davidson baseball cap to keep the rain off my eyeglasses. Function and form take precedence over style, unfortunately.
