A few weeks ago, Lauren sent us this Free People film which features Christopher Abbott from Girls. I’m a total sucker for cute stories like this! Also, it made Theodora, Scott’s assistant, cry.
Plus Christopher Abbott is extra sexy, which never hurts (says the most boy crazy girl in the studio…who happens to have a boyfriend…oops…)
Since he’s leaving Girls I plan to keep watching this on repeat.

Saw this two weeks ago, fell in love with the clothes & the love story… & NYC !
Even tough the movie is beautiful I think is a very sad movie…I got some experiencies like that…some romances never ends and also never start. Stories torn by millions of reasons, but not learned to sew.

Je trouve ce film très peu original. J’ai l’impression de regarder une publicité de vêtement, très BoBo (hipster, appelez ça comme vous le voudrez) qui ne montre rien de moins que les mêmes clichées encore et encore. Bien sûr, agencé avec une caméra à l’épaule, une courte profondeur de champ et beaucoup de «lumière naturelle», on y voit que du feu. Tout ces codes… réutilisés à toutes les sauces… Je trouve le jeu des acteurs superficiel, leurs vêtements trop parfaitement accordés, leurs corps parfaits, du genre : nous n’avons rien d’autre à faire de notre vie que d’être bien habillés et s’embrasser dans les rues.
Ceci n’a absolument rien de réaliste. Encore un produit pseudo contemporain qui n’apporte rien d’autre qu’un lavage de cerveau sur notre perception très nord-américaine de la réalité ainsi qu’à quoi devrait ressembler une BELLE relation amoureuse entre un homme et une femme.

Cela m’a évoqué “Elusive”, la magnifique vidéo de la non moins grandiose Lianne La Havas, réalisée par la Blogothèque.
La photographie y est tout aussi sublime, et les premiers instants du coup de foudre amoureux y sont captés, c’est velouté et envoûtant, comme dans cette vidéo.
Ravie d’avoir encore découvert quelque chose de sublime sur votre blog madame Doré, les années passent et quelque chose que l’on doit appeler le “style” demeure puisque je ne me “défidélise” pas de vos articles et de votre point de vue sur la mode, depuis bientôt cinq ans -j’avais alors 17ans!
Il est très rare pour moi de laisser un commentaire, sauf coup de foudre majeur alors j’en profite pour vous écrire -cela ne fait jamais de mal de le rappeler- à quel point votre parcours et votre style sont une source d’inspiration constante -je suis musicienne, mais c’est indéniablement grâce à des œuvres comme la vôtre, que je sais que j’arriverai jour après jour à ajouter une pierre de plus à l’édifice de mon rêve . Ah, je crois que je suis fan.
