I’ve become almost obsessed with attending panels. Until recently, I thought they were events that only people in khakis go to during industry conferences and that never sounds enticing, or at least it didn’t use to. No need to tell me, I already know I was wrong!!
In our post women’s march panel in DC, we talked about the rise of activism in the past few months and how incredibly cool it’s been to witness. And in the past few months, I had this need to learn more and get more involved, not just politically but socially and culturally. I found myself attending all sorts of panels: ones on film, intersectional feminism, comedy, entrepreneurship, you name it.
Personally, listening to others and engaging in dialogue has been eye opening. And there’s great new people who share your interests, good conversation and last but not least free wine. So invite me to the next great panel in the comments, I am game.
