Great show. Welcome to the club Garance! It is absolutely fab!! I went to Portland this summer and at the airport bought a wine glass that has a bird on it … and it says “put a bird on it”. Kinda ridiculous. But every once in a while fun to bring out and use with friends!
Hilarious! Growing up in Portland going to school in Eugene, I wouldn’t have been caught dead in Birkenstocks. But now living in Los Angeles and working for a movie studio, I live in them (best way to cross a big lot).

LOVE Portlandia and this sequence was one of my favorites along with the crazy dog people at the outdoor cafe freaking out about finding it’s owner… SO hilarious!! Perfect follow-up after the Birkenstocks post.
I am mostly going to give this love because I live in Portland and I know several of every type of person depicted in this segment. Giant gauges? They’re OVER!
Lol!!! I remember watching this last summer. Have you seen the Harajuku girls at the coffee shop yet? That one is my absolute favorite!!!! p.s. My grandmother had to wear Birkenstocks after she broke her hip — being the fashion lady that she was, she bought pretty much every pattern they offered — and she wore them with socks. I guess I could see if they work, but I will have to steer clear of any pastels to avoid looking like Memere. :)

AAAH Je suis heureux que tu postes du portlandia.
Bon OK moi j’ai finis la saison depuis belles lurettes, grace a un ami qui me l’avait conseillé.
Mais pour les autres, tu fais un peu de pub et c’est super. Parce que c’est vraiment la série la plus decalée du moment (enfin sans doute que depuis, il existe quelque chose de plus decalé encore, mais j’en ai pas entendu parler).
Enfin bref, bien a toi et bons episodes !
Ps: connais tu Girls ? Geraldine en parle sur son blog, c’est moins decalé, mais tout aussi drole. Deux tres bonnes séries !
