Officina Del Poggio
5 years ago by
When Mary walked into the Atelier wearing her new Officina Del Poggio (ODP) bag, we were all oohing and aahing.
I mean, how could we not?? It’s the perfect meld of being precisely on-trend and also timeless. ODP Founder, Allison Hoeltzl Savini’s influences range from old-school camera bags and saddlery, to vintage cars and motorcycles.
And you don’t have to be a handbag expert to tell, just from looking at it, how high-quality the craftsmanship is. Which makes sense given Allison’s commitment to expert artisanship. She has built lasting creative partnerships with skilled leather and fabric workers from small, family-run factories across Italy’s Tuscany region. The very name of the company reflects this: “officina,” meaning “workshop,” and “poggio,” meaning “hills,” thus meaning “workshop in the hills.”
If you’re still looking for a last minute Holiday gift, we highly recommend these perfect, cult-favorite bags. They’re definitely going straight to the top of our wish lists! Otherwise, Mary might start to wonder where her’s disappeared to. ;)
Because we’re such big fans of Allison and ODP, you’ll be seeing more of her on the site after the new year!
