Maybe people have no idea how much work is behind a picture. It can seem very effortless but there is a lot of work. It’s exactly like doing ballet. It’s hours and hours but when you go onstage it’s just the pleasure of dancing.

J’ai vu ce documentaire mis à part Carine Roitfeld qui est une attraction en elle même, le documentaire n’est pas très intéressant car il me semble bien trop lisse. Il n’aborde à aucun moment les sujets qui fâchent comme le conflit entre vogue et CR, il n’y a pas de regard objectif mais le regard bien trop admiratif de Fabien Constant sur Carine Roitfeld. Il est comme un enfant devant son idole, ça manque cruellement d’objectivité. Mademoiselle C a tout à envié à The September Issue, même si il est vrai que la photo est un véritable plaisir pour les yeux et que c’est toujours très intéressant de suivre la création d’un magazine.

Je suis allée le voir la semaine dernière, j’ai adoré. Je pense que l’erreur que font beaucoup de gens est de le comparé à The September Issue, ça n’a rien à voir, Anna n’est pas Carine et inversement, les films ne sont pas structurés de la même manière, bref …ça reste un bon docu :)

Ce film ne sort pas dans ma vielle toute petite ville !!!!
Certes, mais je pense que la photographie, avec suffisamment de pratique et de technique, reste plus accessible dans sa maîtrise à un plus grand nombre de personnes que la danse classique.
Les deux sont des arts dans leur propre droit, mais la maîtrise de la danse classique à la perfection reste quand même bien plus complexe à mes yeux, sans conteste.
Elle a tout à fait raison ! Le documentaire m’a l’air très intéressant, je le regarderai surement :)

Oh, I know. I don’t do fashion photography but I do freestyle photography. I LOVE photography but indeed, there is a skill behind taking good photographs. And I love the fact that I’m always learning.
