I really like the style of this New York Fashion Week a lot.
A truly relaxed kind of chic is upon us, we’ve been seeing a lot of girls walking around with great ease (says the girl who only sees what she wants to see while 70% of the girls do happen to be wearing heels) and with flowing fabrics, which gives them a lovely relaxed look, and we’re also seeing a lot, I mean A LOT of light colors and cream.
Ok, obviously everyone copied me, starting with Carine, I could tell she had been checking out my style – but I forgive her. That’s just the price you pay when you’re the leader of the cream trend, right?
I don’t care, I’ve got her beat by a long shot. I’ve already bought a cream colored coat for this winter. Yep, nothing can stop me, I’m headed straight for a total cream look (help!)

I’ve always loved cream, a bit easier on the complexion than stark white. So dash over to NARS and snap up the Philip Lim 3.1 collab nail polish in Anarchy, a fabulous creamy buttermilk with a bit of an edge ( ii is called Anarchy for crying out loud!) Perfect transition color.

Well, I suppose it’s because it’s still summer and people are enjoying wearing light colors even during fall/winter, I mean, I do. I think the weather is enough depressing. Black and white could actually be my uniform colors all year round.

I’m a huge fan of creme outfits, I’ve yet to try one out for myself though, I’m not sure if I’m brave enough though. They always look so stylish and polished. I love the top in that first image, the neck is perfect.

Ha! Cream in NYC? How do all these women get to the shows? One unlucky cab ride (I’m assuming the seats are still black and mysteriously coated at times….) and it is OVER. Or are you strategically not showing us their rear views? I trust they aren’t walking in their beautiful heels…LOL
When I live in NYC, wearing light colors was a sign of affluence and private drivers. :)

Garance, I love this creme de la creme! It’s so fresh and fun and light hearted but so chic. I want a shirt dress like this and a sweater and a flowly skirt…ok so I want all of it haha!
