A quiet confidence mixed with an innate ability to acquire vintage pieces you swore were current season, Nike Felldin is already making a name for herself. Alongside fellow stylist Columbine Smille and editor Lisa Corneliusson, she helps run the beautifully curated site Space Matters. We’re happy to share with you a little piece of her simple, yet sophisticated world!

Describe your style in three words.
A bohemian minimalist.

Where do you like to shop in Stockholm? Any favorites for vintage?
At the moment I don’t have a favorite store in Stockholm unfortunately, a couple of years ago there were a lot more stores that I felt inspired to shop at. It feels like every brand has their own store now, I miss a good curated shop with different designers. There still are a few good vintage shops, but they’re either too 40-50s or too modern. I prefer to shop all of my vintage at etsy.com where you really can find some goodies.

When it comes to style, whats most important : comfort, beauty, or innovation?
I’ve tried so many different styles in my youth. Comfort, beauty, and innovation are three strong components that create and embody the entirety of my style. One component doesn’t exclude another but comfort is most definitely a priority.

Would you say you have a go-to look or uniform for getting dressed everyday?
My everyday dress code is often a pair of denim, turtleneck or a shirt, and boots. I always wear my silver jewels from All Blues. It makes me feel elegant even though my outfit is pretty simple.

Do you have a fashion muse?
I have always had a sweet spot for the 60s-70s girls like Francoise Hardy, Jean Shrimpton, Jane Birkin and Lauren Hutton.

Most impractical fashion item you own?
I own way too many clothes made of suede for living in a country as rainy as Sweden.

Tell us about your favorite vintage find. Do you remember where and when you got it?
My mom used to have a vintage store when I was growing up. In the basement they had a rental part with clothes from the 20th century to the 80s where I used to play dress up all the time. I still have a lot of pieces from the shop but I wish I was older when it closed down..one of my favorite finds from there are a pair of snake skin boots from the 60s.

Growing up in Sweden, do you feel like your style is influenced by the minimalist aesthetics?
Yes, it’s hard to be a maximalist when it’s -20 degrees.

Favorite brands we may not know but you love?
A lot of Swedish ones like Rodebjer, All Blues and ATP Atelier but I’m also a fan of the brand Beaufille.
