Chanel resort collection… It feels a little suspended in time.
It’s like someone waved a magic wand and poof, all the tourists in Saint-Tropez disappeared, everyone left was wearing Chanel, and then on top of that, some perfect weather made its way in.
Then you would go have a seat in the café and there was a party, some live music, some gifts, some champagne…
It was my first Chanel resort show and the first time that I felt so immersed in such a marvelous world where, as Karl so wonderfully illustrated, even the sun is in Chanel.
In the middle of it all was the most incredible staging (models coming in on the most sublime Rivas), playing with the history of Saint-Tropez and just barely touching on kitch (the end of the show was on a huge motorcycle) without ever losing sight of the sense of humor (the motorcycle stalled out right before it got to the podium –> everyone cracking up at the end of the show), I discovered the pleasure, if only for a couple days, of letting myself be completely transported.
So I still have a whole bunch of pictures to show you from the show (and maybe a video! Yeaah!)(The girl who get’s herself all worked up)… And lots of thoughts to share with you as well.
But that’s it for the moment, I’ll go have breakfast, and then there’s only one hour left to head vintage shopping (I have to tell you all about it! We came across the craziest shop in Saint-Tropez!) before heading back to Paris… I’ll see you soon!

outch, après ces quelques jours de douceur et de jolie lumière, le contraste va être dur pour toi, je préfère te prévenir : ici, c’est le mois de novembre !!!

ce sont de très belles photos, elles reflètent bien l’ambiance! qui est cette jolie blonde en robe noire?
Tu as de la chance qu’il fasse beau, il pelut tellement dans le Gard que les roses pourrissent.
Quant à vider Saint-Tropez de ses habitants et les remplacer par des fashionistas et des pipeules, c’est ce qui arrive tous les ans du 1er juin au 31 août. Là, vous avez juste pris un peu d’avance !

I am so thankful for all your impressions of your trip to Saint Tropez.
I am really excited to see more. And tell us more about the town like the place where u can get vintage. I was in Saint Tropez las May too but all i was able to find for shopping was the K-Jacques or Rondinis (although i did not buy them either which i regret now). everything else was very kitchy. but i had a feeling that there had to be something more.
