Hedvig
8 years ago by
I’ve always wondered how women who work in fashion and have kids manage to still look so chic. Case in point, Hedvig. I quite literally ran into her the first time at a presentation during NYFW, her adorable daughter Hedda right by her side.
I think what caught my attention was the way in which Hedvig carries herself, with a real self-assurance – she sort of glides along (reminds me a bit of G, actually!). So, when we met up with the blogger and mom in Paris, Hedda in tow, she told me how she doesn’t plan her outfits during fashion week. Ever. Just puts on whatever feels right for that day. But tries not to repeat either.
Maybe that’s how she pulls off such simple grace, on a whim! But, even more so, I find her outfits believable, wearable – which, in today’s crazed street style, is certainly more of a rarity!

Gorgeous post! Totally admire her style..that picture with her daughter is beyond cute!
Fashion Soup
A person whoo was trained to be a professional alpine skier is absolutely a person who is in a competition with himself all the time:) her world is fashion so how can she stop being fashionable because she has a daughter …kids when they come in the right time they add to your life..you don’t stop being who you are !! you even want to be an example for them …and Hadvig Sagfjord Opshaug with her wonderful blog -http://the-northernlight.com is an elegant person and elegance is something natural you can ‘t learn or buy you possede it or not!!

what an adorable duo!

The self-assurance you mentioned really does come through. She appears very poised, confident, and calm. I love the photos, as usual. That geometric sweater is amazing. Reminds me of Kilim rugs I saw in Istanbul (in the most complimentary way possible).
But can we talk about her hair? So beautiful!
Great inspiration in every sense: the person, the looks, the setting, the photos!
I’ve been following Hedvig for ages! She’s that kind of girl that truly has a style of her own!
