How to / Build a Brand

Julia Melbourne is a PR superstar. Think Samantha Jones (from Sex and the City!) at the height of her career, but without the shoulder pads or the drama. Rather, Julia is a consummate professional, a hard-worker, well-connected beyond belief, and kind and charming to boot!

Impressive, I know. In an industry that often thrives off of faux sincerity, Julia has managed to cut through the bullshit and carve out a niche for herself based on her caring and positive energy and her genuine excitement for the people and companies she works with. She also has a special knack for finding and attracting the coolest brands.

Unfussy Evening

For me, evening dressing is kind of a funny concept. Maybe it’s a symptom of 2018 fashion, maybe it’s living in New York, or maybe I’m just not that fancy of a person (probably some combination of the three), but it’s pretty rare that I find myself having to get dressed up for events. Weddings, of course, are an exception. But to me, weddings feel more obligatory (sorry, sorry, we can talk about this another time). Whatever happened to just getting dressed up for fun? In the spirit of the holiday season, and all of the parties and New Year’s Eve celebrations that are still upon us, I’m toying with the idea.

Rosie’s London Minimalism

With home month quickly whizzing by us at the Atelier, we are particularly excited to share a peek into Rosie Seabrook’s London home. Why? Well, because not only does Rosie have a gorgeous home, but she is also a master of interior design. She is a British designer whose career spans both London and New York and whose skills span from interior design and curation to even furniture and product design! She has a singular vision pinpointed by subtle luxury and a minimalism free from the genre’s typical coldness.

My No Holiday, Holiday

My No Holiday, Holiday

We’re in it. We’re in that THICK OOEY GOOEY STENCH of the holidays. Funny enough, despite the mid-December date, I haven’t had a single glass of egg nog, nor bought a tree, or even a single gift. It’s not that I’m...

I have a distinct memory from my childhood of my mother pulling gloves out of the glovebox of her car. Yes, she actually used the glovebox for its original purpose and namesake, to hold one’s gloves. I always...
