Spotted this morning at the H&M showroom (youh, fashion week is in da houssse!), a really cool collection and more precisely, a cool jean blouse with tassels. Oh, and a cool carré court (French lesson? A carré is a a bob, and court means short! So it’s a short bob).
Maybe it’s because I’m getting very close to a pretty major hair change (yes, I know, all I do is talk but this time it might really happen guys and you can’t say that I haven’t warned you!!!) but I’m pretty obsessed with any short hair I see.

J’adore…. mais le probleme avec les carres courts…. c’ est qu’il faut ABSOLUMENT leur donner de la texture, sinon ca fait flop flop.
Je cherche depuis des annees, mais pas encore trouve de produit miracle. Peut-etre Bumble, que je n’ai pas encore essaye…

Here is; nice and still not known Garance; one “carré long”, several “carrés moyens” and a lot of whity “carrés courts” fractal type short squares. No meaning (for the drawing i made) intended at all, jut a half- failed fractal computer made drawing generated by a real simple iterative formula, like nature also does greatly with our terrenal but beautiful great green plants.

Course – my hair is NOTHING like hers…..not blonde – not straight – I have dark brown, what I call,
“Italian Girl Hair” – not curly not straight – ugh – in-between weird, wavy – oh well – !

J’ai la même coupe depuis samedi. Je la texturise avec le nouveau produit Kerastase “Spray à porter” et ça fonctionne très bien.
Enfin avec tes cheveux Garance, tu n’aurais pas besoin de ce type de produit texturisant. :-)

Pour avoir eu un carre court une grand partie de ma vie un tel résultat arrive grâce au joli travail d’un coiffeur;-) Pour avoir un beau carre il faut donc être la star du brushing et / ou du fer a lisser / boucler!

Quelle beauté, j’adore! Je suis du genre à me laisser pousser les cheveux, puis à les couper en carré plus court, car j’aime beaucoup le changement, et il faut dire que ça rajeunit beaucoup quand on a plus de 35 ans. Cette coupe est sublime (et la jeune femme d’autant plus).

N’importe quelle coupe, pris en main par un bon coiffeur pour un shooting est belle, en plus si le modèle est aussi ravissante que celle sur la photo.
Le problème : comment trouver une belle coupe facile à coiffer, et ce n’est évident !

Wow that girl is beautiful. And that hair!!! How did she get it so perfectly tousled? This is the best “bed-head” hair I have ever seen.
I wish that I looked good with short hair but I have naturally chubby cheeks ugh. To pull short hair off you really have to be slim and have that skinny small face like this girl above. I will just dream on lol.

Oh, comme la coïncidence est amusante.. Je viens d’opter pour cette coupe (carré dégradé).
J’ai eu peur au moment des bruits de ciseaux, mais maintenant, je suis plus que ravie. C’est tout simplement génial, simple à entretenir… et très vivant. j’avais peur que la coupe me vieillisse un tantinet, mais non, bien au contraire. Même mon mari ne veut plus que j’en change. Bref, je m’emballe, désolée… On s’en moque, de ma tête ! (Pour une fois qu’une coupe me plaît à ce point ! :) ).
Il faudra nous raconter tes changements capillaires, j’aime bien causer cheveux ! ;)

My first thought when I saw this photo was “Pinterest!” ( for my file of cool haircuts). Then I remembered that I have neither a long, swan-like neck or the face of a twenty-something model and that mid/short length hair without either of those two things can make me look like a soccer Mom.

I imagine you will just HAVE to go ahead and cut your hair, but, hmmmm…. I mean, you are the type of female that will look very lovely no matter what you do to your hair, but I personally feel that there are “long-haired people” and there are “short-haired people”. I feel that you are in the first category: a long-haired beauty. Being a “long-haired person” myself, I learned that when I once cut my hair shorter that the bad hair days were impossible to deal with. With long hair, there’s always that great messy bun or a pony tail. Taaaa daaaa!
To Jane: that “soccer mom” comment is so beyond TRUE! Thank you for that important reminder. Now I can take my mind away from the temptation to cut my hair into a bob.

How pretty! I just got a carré court myself back in August while visiting NY. I chopped my long hair that touched below my breast all the way up to my chin. I worked myself up to go for the plunge for over a month (I collected many short hair photos like you did, talked the big talk to everyone), and a midst the excitement of my NY trip, it was like “If I’m gonna do it, I’m gotta do it now, here in NY!” . The salon staff all got excited, raved at the result, and my natural wave got even more defined as it was no longer weighed down. It was so much fun. go for it, Garance!

Ahah je suis dans la même problématique, j’ai une folle envie de me couper les cheveux mais tellement peur de regretter et puis quand j’essaye de me decider je tombe toujours sur une photo magnifique d’une actrice que j’aime ou une mannequin et elle a TOUJOURS les cheveux long, que faire ? :)

You have the most beautiful face so short hair just enhances your beauty! This carré court (a bit graded) or your hair as you showed it in the youtube clip Le Crop are very flattering on you. Just don’t go long; that is something you have if your hair is better than you face or you need to cover parts of your face to, which in your case is not the fact. :-) You are a true beauty!
