Let’s be honest. Leopard is hard to make cool. It can go full blown Jersey Shore circa 2009 real quick. But I enjoy a little leopard pop. It’s an unexpected statement that when pulled off well, warrants a stream of compliments. When I first got wind of a TOMS x Clare V. collaboration I was already more than intrigued – great taste & great cause. You can’t go wrong. Then I saw these precious espadrilles. Clare V. knows how to do leopard and TOMS knows how to make an espadrille light as a feather. Two things I appreciate because now I can float through spring and summer feeling confidently proud of my leopard pop, while not feeling like I have bricks connected to my soles. Bravo, you two.

I’d have to respectfully disagree with you about leopard. It’s almost a neutral for me- immediately makes me think of a cool, sexy, rock and roll vibe. Think Kate Moss or Anne Bancroft in the Graduate. It’s not hard to make leopard cool in any way, shape, or form. It simply is cool and that’s that. That said, this is a cute collab. But find some love for leopard- it’s really quite fabulous and is best served with a red or neutral pink lip, and an ice cold martini.
